Original founder and previous president of Executrade, Rich has passed the torch to Scott and eagerly tackles his duties as Chief Executive Officer with his trademark enthusiasm and energy. As CEO, Rich leads the company's long-term strategic planning with the same passion he held when it was first formed and continues to challenge those around him to be creative and innovative. There is no pretense about Rich, his passion for providing clients with outstanding results and superior customer service has motivated him to get out of bed before the alarm rings every morning for more than 30 years.

Rich has single-handedly created a fun, nurturing and value-driven corporate culture partly due to his caring, larger-than-life personality but mostly because of his deep-seated belief in developing trust and relationships. Striving to find new ways to lead the company into the future, this dynamic CEO plans to help the company grow beyond its impressive list of achievements in the industry for many years to come; Executrade was a 2004 Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award finalist and won the Torch Award for Business Ethics (Better Business Bureau — Central and Northern Alberta) in 2000. Rich was personally recognized in 2000, receiving the national Leadership Award from ACSESS (Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services) and President's Award from the local chapter of ACSESS.

Taught by the master himself, Scott takes the helm from past president, Richard Stoppler, and plans to lead Executrade further than it has ever gone before. Having worn most every hat inside Executrade over the past ten years, Scott now controls the captain's chair, channelling his talent, background and experience into directing and managing the company's entire operations.

Scott is currently an active member of the Alberta Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He is also the past-president of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS) and a board member of ABC HeadStart. Scott's impact in both the workplace and the community is diverse and impressive. His energy, passion and drive to get things done have made him the top-producing recruiter in permanent placements for four consecutive years. He is also a proud alumnus of Edmonton's elite "Sizzling Twenty Under 30" group.

A native Edmontonian and graduate of the NAIT Management and Marketing Diploma programs, Scott believes in building strong, professional relationships and making a difference. He lives and breathes his beliefs at work where fostering a positive work environment and keeping clients/candidates satisfied are paramount.

When Scott is not busy moving the company forward, he and his wife Megan are enjoying time with their new son Sloan born in November of 2007. They also like to pack their bags and head for new adventures, often ending up in their favourite destinations of Maui and New York.

A dedicated member of the Executrade team, Amber has been with the company since 2000. As well as studying to earn her HR Certificate from the University of Alberta, Amber has recently taken on a new challenge in the position of Quality Assurance Manager. Her diligence and keen attention to detail keep things running smoothly, ensuring clients needs are met.

Amber moved to Edmonton in 1997 from The Pas, Manitoba, where she grew up. She helps to raise awareness by participating in Walk for Heart & Stroke and Run for the Cure. Though she keeps busy with work and studies, she always makes time to enjoy the best parts of her life: spending time with family and friends, singing, and visiting Disneyworld!

Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Sheryl roamed through the Northwest Territories and Western Canada before planting roots in Edmonton in 2002. Sheryl has since pursued studies in computers and recently earned a Business Computer Specialist diploma from CDI College.

She has been with Executrade for four years, and has recently moved into the position of Business Process & Administrative Manager. She was awarded the President’s award in a vote by the staff at Executrade in 2006. Her continuing career goal is to stay committed to the company’s vision, values, and processes for continued growth and development of Executrade.
She loves spending time with her family, watching movies, and walking the dog.

As Privacy Officer and Manager of our Internal Accounting and our Payroll Services Divisions, Gerry loves to bring "order out of chaos". This extends not only to columns of numbers, but to taking the inventive ideas of others and tailoring them until they become viable options.

Gerry initiated Executrade's "cost plus" system of payrolling which, combined with her knowledge of payroll and tax legislation, ensures that our payrolling service is second to none for price or quality.

Her second love is linguistics and she spends many of her off hours immersed in competitive word games. She actually completes crossword puzzles in ink!

Gerry is the producer of much of Executrade's written documentation, including our privacy policy, benefits manual and employment contracts.

A hardworking team player with over 10 years of experience in the accounting industry, Dawn joined the payroll department at Executrade in 2005. Analytical by nature, Dawn recognizes in herself an innate talent for reconciling numbers and solving problems - two qualities that help her to excel in payroll, AP, and AR.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dawn lived in Calgary for 10 years before returning to her hometown in 2004. She enjoys yoga and camping, and has spent countless summers at her family cabin, waterskiing in the daytime and relaxing with a good book in the evenings.

Supporting our internal accounting department, payroll clerk Melody Wong manages the weekly payroll for our temporary recruitment division. Melody is currently completing her Applied Accounting degree at NAIT, after which she plans to pursue her CGA.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Melody enjoys traveling the world and recently spent several months abroad trekking through China and Hong Kong.

In her dual role as both Business Development Coordinator and Executive Coordinator to the President, Marilyn is responsible for developing relationships with Executrade’s diverse clientele and helping the company continue in its successful growth through business leads. She offers extensive experience in computer data management and communications and a solid educational background that includes a Communications diploma and successful completion of numerous Microsoft courses. By sharing her skills and knowledge with her team, Marilyn is able to achieve her goal of helping the company become one of the most well-known and respected recruitment firms in Alberta.

Marilyn's favourite pastimes include spending time with her husband and their two sons, walking the dog, curling, Pilates, and reading.
