Pump your API 610 SALES experience in Fort Mac!

The Opportunity
A Canadian leader in pumps and process equipment continues to expand its influence in Alberta. This concentrated focus has created another fantastic opportunity for a Pump Sales Professional in Fort McMurray. You will be focused on the aftermarket needs of the key relationships at all sites; promoting, maintaining, and driving sales. This includes: parts, service, repair and replacement of some of the most recognized pump brands with one of the largest install bases. You will have a great time working for a supportive manager at a progressive company with one of the best product lines available in the market. You will be treated as the dynamic, self motivated PUMP SALES professional that your experience and track record warrants. This is a prominent and influential sales role in their organization!
It is preferable if you are to be based in Fort McMurray.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Market and sell aftermarket service, parts, repairs, replacements and service contracts of a few Key Pump lines in Fort McMurray, to both existing customers and potential clients.
  • Create a sales strategy, develop and carryout a sales plan; targeting accounts, product introduction to potential clients, and sales follow-up while strengthening existing relationships.
  • Communication with key clients and partners, both internally and externally, to ensure all projects and potential projects flow smoothly and are completed in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of client issues; strive for quick and cost-effective resolutions, using all internal and external partners.
  • Help diagnose technical issues and provide a technical resolution or process resolution.
  • Be a product line champion, a technical resource to external and internal partners.
  • Stay current on technical equipment and process, through research and product training.
  • Present “lunch and learns” to internal and external clients and represent product lines at trade shows, in order to promote and sell key product lines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • University Degree or College Diploma, Mechanical or Technical related subject or significant Technical Pump experience, with API 610 expertise.
  • Proven track record in attaining/exceeding sales goals of a minimum of 5 years experience in sales of Pumps and or service of Pumps in Fort McMurray.
  • API 610 Knowledge and technical expertise is a must.
  • A well developed ability to communicate product details to both external and internal customers.
  • Driven to succeed with a focus on customer service and engagement excellence.
  • Analytically minded with a focus on details.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and CMR.
  • Experience in a strategic approach to account management including sales planning, forecasting and tracking.
  • Strong negotiation skills, balancing short and long term demands/goals.
  • Accept responsibilities, taking ownership to resolve of client issues, with a positive attitude both with clients, and partner whether internal or external.
  • Demonstrated abilities to present successfully in front of client groups big and small.

Compensation and Benefits

  • It is preferable if you are to be based in Fort McMurray.
  • Base salary of $110k-140k plus sales bonus that could reach an addition 30% or more.
