The Opportunity

Our Calgary client is looking for an Administrative Assistant with accounting experience to cover a maternity leave for a 14 month contract.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Responsible for monthly variance analysis
  • Invoicing, coding, getting appropriate approvals and processing payments
  • Obtaining process approval when needed
  • Monthly reporting and presentations
  • Expense reports
  • Booking travel arrangements
  • Payroll time entry
  • Assisting with on-boarding and off-boarding for new employees and contractors
  • Filing, scanning and other administrative tasks as needed


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as a Senior Administrative Assistant
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be proficient MS skills with an advanced understanding of Excel (good understanding of macros and pivot tables)


Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation will be based on experience
