Are you an Area Manager with 10+ years of leadership experience in transportation, waste, or oil/energy services?


The Opportunity


If you have proven leadership, strong safety experience, and exceptional business development skills, this may be the position for you! Our Hydrovac client is in need of an Area Manager to oversee the daily operations for their Whitecourt location.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Overall day to day operations for the division.
  • Maintain fleet maintenance program.
  • Full responsibility for financial acumen and P&L for the area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Client management with strong customer service skills, with the ability to establish new prospects.
  • Create and regulate a customer service program.
  • Hire, train, and manage operators and supervisors.
  • Coordinate and dispatch Hydrovac units and other mobile equipment as required.
  • High focus on Safety standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of management experience is required.
  • 5+ years of operating Hydrovac, Combo or Vac trucks is preferred.
  • Background in transportation, oil/energy services, mobile equipment, or waste industry is required.
  • Experience in sales and business development.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Solid safety background.
  • Class 1 or 3 license preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is dependent on experience.
