The Opportunity

A leader in production tools and artificial lift is investing in Canada. You will be involved with evaluating and evolving the Canadian Market Distribution Model. As the Product Sales Manager your focus will be to create, then implement a sales strategy utilising all corporate resources, including; sales teams and distribution centers. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Internal product champion, ensuring manufacturing, financial, marketing and technical support.
  • Develop processes and procedures to optimize pricing with a focus on market share growth.
  • Track, measure, and analyze sales, market share.
  • Advises and consults with internal business partners on business development initiatives and plans.
  • Canadian sales and strategic leadership for the Downhole pump product line.
  • Strategic market analysis and implementation of product distribution channels.
  • Sales reporting of sales volume, prospected projects, projected sales, possible growth within the market, clients, and areas of improvement.
  • Build key business initiatives and plans in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product leadership.
  • Supports the executive team in the development of annual operational and financial budgets.
  • Support compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Drives continuous improvement within the team and the company.
  • Support the sales team with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals with key accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of Management and Sales Management experience.
  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in a Mechanical Technical discipline and/or business would be preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Management would be an asset.
  • Proven success of Business Development and sales of Artificial lift, including Downhole pumps, selling of no less than 10 years.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at an executive level.
  • Driven, with a positive attitude, who is well organized and knows how maximize personal resources, including time.
  • Strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Oracle.
  • Developed business acumen and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate the sales leadership skills to mentor, shape, and motivate a dynamic team to drive and exceed goals.
  • Proven analytical skills with the P & L exposure.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, while being to able to understand and utilize all assets within a multi-divisional corporate environment

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $120,000 -$150,000 per annum or more, commensurate with experience and vision. Bonus target of 20%-35% plus profit sharing. Competitive benefits package with great pension program. Vehicle allowance, expenses, etc.
