The Opportunity

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your responsibilities include the following:

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Build and promote positive rapport with assigned customers.
  • Manage customer issues and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customers orders and advise of expected delivery time and/or any changes in delivery times.
  • Learn and maintain product knowledge on all new and existing product lines.
  • Participate in sales meetings and product knowledge training sessions.
  • Monitor backorders for assigned customers to ensure desired delivery dates are met.
  • Troubleshoot for lost or delayed shipments and ensure timely follow up to customers.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to voicemails and emails.
  • Expedient escalation of issues in a proactive manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of customer service experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Sage X3 an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range is approximately $37,000 -$45,000 per year. Includes benefits!
