The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Estimator for it’s Underground/Tunneling group based in Vancouver!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Perform detailed analysis of contract documents, specifications, drawings, and reports to determine overall project requirements, actual scope of work, incidentals and identify any associated risk & potential
  • Prepared detailed take offs
  • Complete final cost estimate of each project using Explorer Estimating software system, incorporating all labour, equipment subcontract and material data, pricing documentation, overhead and profit margins
  • Produce a final tender submission for review and approval
  • Prepare conceptual estimates and conventional bid submissions with or without complete drawings and specifications


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • 3+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Valid driver license
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Adobe
  • Estimating proficiency using HCSS Estimating Software
