File Clerk – Contract


The Opportunity


Currently our Calgary client is in search of an experienced File Clerk to help them with a 10 week assignment. If you have the experience, please contact me immediately!


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Organizing all filing in file room
  • Extensive hardcopy files to be boxed and indexed appropriately
  • Verifying that the appropriate files are being boxed then cross-referencing the files in the boxes with a list of files that need to be sent
  • Purging inactive files, organizing, and boxing for off site storage
  • Filing loose reports, pulling files from the filing shelves and then re-filing the files as required
  • Data entry
  • Administrative duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous document management and records experience is required
  • Experience within the Human Services sector
  • Confidentiality is Critical
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Candidate must be able to handle heavy lifting
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to learn proprietary database easily
  • Maturity, professionalism, and ability to deal with varied personalities
