Do you have experience in the field of certification and testing? Our client is seeking a strong leader for their Building Products Division for their Edmonton-based operations!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation, productivity and on-time delivery of certification and testing services.
  • Developing and managing certification projects.
  • Ensure all aspects of the services meet divisional and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for a technical team with the goal of efficiently and effectively exceeding client requirements and expectations for Certification and Testing.
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of these services in a manner that supports corporate and divisional values, policies and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance to your staff and clients to ensure high quality and safe delivery of certification and tests.
  • Develop your team by providing leadership, mentoring, training opportunities and correction as required.
  • Work with your manager to develop and manage the operating budget for your product group.
  • Manage services to ensure high customer satisfaction and resolves issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (P.Eng preferred)
  • Experience with certification or regulatory bodies in the buildings and construction industry is strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of management experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Problem resolution skills and ability to handle complex customer issues, with a strong focus on facilitation and analysis
  • Experience with budgeting and business plans

Compensation and Benefits
