The Opportunity


Our client in Downtown Vancouver is looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team. This company is passionate about sustainability. They are looking for someone who will come into the organization and hit the ground running as they are going through a current growth period. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a variety of HR related tasks and responsibilities. The candidate would need to have previous experience as they are a very busy and are looking for someone to come onboard to manage the HR level responsibilities.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Responsible for the onboard of new employees
  • Retaining corporate culture
  • Enrolling employees in benefits plan and responding to enquiries
  • Creating and posting job advertisements
  • Pre-screening candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Managing payroll and vacation of all employees
  • Internal communications

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR Coordinator role
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Management
  • CPHR designation or working towards it is considered an asset
  • General knowledge of Human Resources practices, legislations and resources
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Compensation and Benefits

  • $40,000 to $45,000 DOE
