Licensing Clerk – Red Deer

The Opportunity

Our client in Red Deer is seeking a contract Licensing Clerk for 2 months. The chosen candidate must be adaptable to changing priorities and possess strong organizational and time management skills. This role provides administrative support to a number of branches within their organization and is the initial contact for all inquiries received. This individual must have a positive attitude, must work well in a team environment and also have experience in independent decision making.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Initial contact for all inquiries
  • Guide and assist applicants
  • Assess and analyze documentation needed for applications
  • Process applications
  • Opening and closing of files
  • Bank deposits
  • Reporting
  • Drafting memos and correspondences as required
  • Receive and process incoming mail
  • Prepare outgoing mail and couriers
  • Keeping up to date with policy changes and legislation requirements
  • Answering phones and greeting quests
  • Provide approvals
  • Handle complaints by forwarding to the appropriate manager
  • Maintain filing system
  • Maintain attendance records for submittal to Payroll
  • Expense reports
  • Office supply orders
  • Boardroom bookings
  • Meeting minutes
  • Perform commissioner of Oaths duties

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess Commissioner of Oaths license
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Adaptable to changing priorities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude!!
