The Opportunity


Our client’s busy office is located in central Vancouver with parking availability and close access to the SkyTrain. They are looking for a Manager of Occupational Therapy Services to help run their already busy medical legal assessment service business.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Provide Functional Capacity Evaluations and/or Cost of Future Care Evaluations.
  • Strong track record of continuing professional development (education, attending lectures, conferences, journals etc.).
  • Team building and mentorship of new team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in evidence-based assessment services for clients impacted by a variety of injuries and conditions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Leadership experience is an asset.
  • Ability to build a successful team of Occupational Therapists to handle growing medical legal assessment business.
  • Registration with College (COTBC or CPTBC).
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and computer skills (MS Word and Outlook).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of cognitive and psychosocial assessment and treatment.
  • Experience in court as an expert witness is required.
