The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

Payroll

  • Set up of new employees
  • Administration of employee benefit packages both US and Canada
  • Preparation of bi-weekly payroll for both Canadian and US employees
  • Filing of Canadian and US remittances to revenue Canada and IRS
  • Preparation of annual WCB reports
  • Preparation of yearly payroll T-4’s and W-2’s

Billing and Receivables

  • Input into ETS service time and billing system
  • Monitoring of employee time and recordings
  • Preparation of monthly billings
  • Preparation of monthly billings into Quickbooks Accounting Software
  • Monitoring collection of receivables
  • Filing of monthly sales tax and GST reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Canadian payroll experience.
  • Previous billing and U.S. payroll experience would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $60,000 – $70,000 per annum starting salary, depending on experience and comprehensive benefit package.
