The Opportunity

Reporting to management, your responsibilities will include:

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Responsible for managing primary vendor contracts and securing regular contract tenders for efficient and competitive pricing.
  • Oversees our service contracts while ensuring that our vendors are meeting their obligations.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining consistent procurement standards and specifications.
  • Ensures appropriate policies and procedures are in place to ensure legislative or regulatory requirements for facility management are adhered to.
  • Manages all insurance policies for the sites, staff housing, and company vehicles.
  • Manages inventory of corporate cell phones.
  • Regularly strives to find potential cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Makes occasional facility site visits.
  • Other duties as related to the day to day operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of facility management or property management experience an asset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work both independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range is approximately $65,000 plus per year. A comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
