The Opportunity

Our very busy, highly reputable client is hiring a Technical Procurement Manager who will over seeing procurement, inventory and hardware roll out resources. Our client has built a fantastic reputation through proactive, honest and client centered technical solutions and support. They require a leader with a previous technical background and a proven track record of building high performance team.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Supervise technical procurement team, mentor/coach employees, manage performance and tools to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee team scheduling, performance reviews, and hiring.
  • Oversee the team responsible for hardware deployments, imaging, updates, and warranty.
  • Point of contact for critical client issues.
  • Responsible for the scheduling, time and utilization management of team members.
  • Review and manage service backlog to ensure services are being correctly scheduled and prioritized.
  • Regular check in and follow ups with client for final resolution and to determine satisfaction level.
  • Vendor management.
  • Documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years technical industry experience (preferably hands on with tech or in service delivery division).
  • Must have 3 years experience in a leadership role managing 5+ resources.
  • Experience in IT service delivery and managing customer expectations.
  • Demonstrable experience in request fulfillment and change management.
  • ITIL environment experience.
  • Previous technical experience needed includes imaging, permission setting with AD, Exchange trouble shooting.
  • Experience with MS Licensing preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in business analysis, profit/loss responsibility and a good understanding of financial concepts.
  • Coaching/leadership experience that has proven to effectively set the stage and provide support to get top performance from staff.
