The Opportunity


Do you love taking Product to Market? Our Vancouver client is looking for Product Marketing Manager Lead for new and existing products. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions


Product Management

  • Identify opportunities and gaps in the product portfolio.
  • Build business cases to support product initiatives, working with the sales team to estimate demand and pricing strategy.
  • Lead the marketing function in product roadmap planning, product ideation, testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Develop training material for the sales team and product demonstrations for external audiences.
  • Create the product marketing strategy and communications plan together with functional specialists within the marketing team.
  • Monitor product performance, feedback and present recommendations for maximizing revenue.

Relationship Management

  • Conduct market research, visit customers, and maintain relationships with resellers to ensure the product’s ongoing viability and future innovation.
  • Be well-versed in competitive market and build strategic partnerships to maintain strong product positioning.
  • Collaborate with the product development team on product requirements, releases, testing, and schedules.
  • Work with executives, marketing and sales to produce and implement marketing strategies for the product.
  • Communicate regularly with other Product Marketing Managers to ensure full product ladder is complementary, clear and on brand
  • Coach internal sales staff on product to improve sales success rate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Web Marketing, Product Development or related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the industry as a Product Manager, Communications Manager, Product Champion, Product Specialist or a similar role.
  • Experience bringing new products to market either in a product management capacity or marketing communications capacity.
  • Commercial experience in forecasting revenue, developing pricing models is an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the organization’s core business areas such as sales and marketing, customer service, web development and management.
  • Experience training individuals in sales and marketing and in devising and driving marketing programs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A salary of $90,000 – $100,000 and a comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
