Our Edmonton-based client is seeking a Project Manager that has strong commercial and/or institutional experience!


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Responsible for overall construction management from pre-construction planning to completion (eg. design, coordination, budget, schedule)
  • Effectively communicate with all site and office personnel
  • Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
  • Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
  • Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven Project Management experience in the commercial/institutional space
  • Construction-related Education (CET/Degree)
  • Working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software
  • Excellent communication paired with leadership abilities is required to be successful in this position

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range $90,000 – $110,000
  • A comprehensive benefits package will be provided
