Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager


Strong management experience in overseeing quality objectives and continuous improvement in a heavy construction setting?


The Opportunity


Our client is building a major civil project in North Vancouver and they may want to talk to you about a senior role as a QHSE Manager for the project.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions


In accordance with ISO 9001 requirements, this manager will develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System and give clear timely direction to a Quality Team to meet all regulatory and legal requirements as it relates to this project. This is a complex role requiring regular consultation with an internal team, external consultants, sub-contractors, regulatory agencies, suppliers and other senior management stakeholders. Ultimately this manager will be responsible for ensuring specifications are met, regular audits are conducted, corrective actions are implemented and all QHSE activities and initiatives are documented. Additionally, this role will be integral in conducting client satisfaction surveys and developing response plans.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Applied Science or Engineering Field
  • 5+ Years in Quality Management role in heavy industry
  • 10+ years in Quality or Engineering in heavy construction
