The Opportunity

Our client, a leading Pipeline Construction and Drilling Contractor, is currently seeking a Quality Manager for their Nisku head office!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Oversee, maintain, and grow the current Quality Program
  • Create, maintain, and monitor systems or flows to provide a more effective and productive working environment
  • Develop and coordinate necessary training initiatives for personnel with respect to the Quality Program
  • Ensure quality systems and procedures are consistent with company goals and objectives
  • Maintain the written Quality Program and Procedure Manual
  • Draft policies and procedures with respect to the Quality Program
  • Develop and implement systems for the distribution of quality policies and procedures to the appropriate personnel
  • Conduct internal audits and assist in external quality audits, to assess compliance with the Quality Program
  • Develop and maintain necessary databases that effectively measure the progress of the Quality Program against benchmarks

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QMS coordination experience
  • Related post-secondary experience preferred
  • QMS and/or ISO program development experience required
  • Pipeline Construction and/or Directional Drilling experience is preferred
  • Previous success in development of client, subcontractor, business and peer relationships
  • Must be able to travel to project sites for visits and audits as needed
  • Must have a valid passport with ability to travel to the US

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is dependent on experience
