The Opportunity

Our client, a large national service provider requires an experienced Recruiter based in either Vancouver or Prince George for a minimum of 3 months. This position will require an individual who has the ability to travel extensively throughout western Canada.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Administer pre-employment testing; reference verification.
  • Ensuring recruitment and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations.
  • Screen and interview qualified candidates both in person and over the phone.
  • Manage candidate assessments and testing.
  • Review and verify applications.
  • Filing and record keeping of employee information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment ideal.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment while juggling multiple time sensitive priorities. Ability to drive to remote locations.
  • Comfortable with weekly travel (overnight).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate of pay will commensurate with experience. Please note that a reliable vehicle is a requirement for this position
