The Opportunity


Our client is looking for Reliability Engineer with preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge and experience with industrial plants or manufacturing. No FIFO.


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Provide oversight to the planning department.
  • Responsible for the monthly reliability report.
  • Track downtime issues and build a corrective action plan to reduce the downtime and ensure uptime is at or above target.
  • Manage the preventative and predictive maintenance program with a pro-active approach.
  • Coordinate the Root Cause Analysis program.
  • Maintain metrics to effectively track and communicate the effectiveness of the maintenance program.
  • Recommend capital projects as part of the site management team.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections to discover hazards and ensure work requests are submitted regarding maintenance requirements.
  • Participate in pro-active safety culture with the goal of zero lost-time incidents on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge.
  • 5+ years experience in a leadership role within an industrial plant or manufacturing setting.
  • A Mechanical/Electrical/Structural Engineering degree is required.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems would be an asset.
