The Opportunity

Our Edmonton client is currently looking for a Route Service Manager to join their team. In this role, you will supervise and direct a team of 15 employees working in the Edmonton market. Working hours for this role are 10:00am – 6:00pm.

Key Responsibilities and Functions

  • Setting objectives with the team and holding members accountable.
  • Scheduling to ensure that client needs are met.
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Planning the maintenance schedule for specific assets.
  • Communicating with the core Edmonton team to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Maintaining a focus on customer service.
  • Meeting with clients to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Working with employees and clients to solve problems and address concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a management role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong customer service focus and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Experience in a route/delivery based industry would be an asset.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited direction.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual compensation for this role is expected to be $60,000 – $70,000 based on experience. A full benefits package including RRSP matching and share purchase options will be offered.
