The Opportunity
Our client in Downtown Calgary is currently seeking an experienced Senior Land Administrator with experience handling Contracts, Joint Ventures and Mineral and Surface Agreements to help assist their team for a 3 month contract. There is potential for this role to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key Account Responsibilities and Function

  • Lands transfer documentation:
    • Notice of Assignments.
    • Crown and Freehold leases Transfers.
    • Caveats.
    • Withdrawal & Discharge of Caveats.
  • Liaison between other departments.
  • Coordinate and handle offset obligations, crown continuations, and private sales.
  • Maintain vendor lists.
  • Update and maintain Land Agreements.
  • Prepare, review and process surface land third party requests; crossings, road use, proximity, site sharing, paralleling & abutments.
  • Review and process Acquisition and Disposition conveyance agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 15 years of experience related to mineral land records and system.
  • Petroleum Land Administration Certificate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficient using MS Office.
  • Experience using CS Explorer, Accumap, GeoScout, Crown ETS, SPIN, IRIS.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $50 – $60 per hour
