The Opportunity

Our client is looking to fill a key role in their organization: A Senior Logistics Analyst who can provide leadership to multiple projects, oversee the transportation and distribution flow, and collaborate daily with all stakeholders.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Monitor and review outsourced operating functions; including, all transportation carriers and warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate movement of domestic and international transportation requirements; via all modes of transportation.
  • Participate in cost benefit analysis, business cases, performance metrics and design implementation.
  • Prepare and lead tendering, negotiation and bid award processes.
  • Create recommendations to senior leadership on cost avoidance and spend reduction strategies.
  • Conduct analysis on current operation practices’ and create improvements based on industry best practices.
  • Audit vendor invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership on cost avoidance and spend reduction strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Log and/or CITT designation is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ working in the distribution and transportation industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required; Dynamics experience is considered an asset.
  • Integrated Supply Chain background is considered a valuable asset.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, organizational and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is dependent on experience.
