Tier 1 Support Analyst needed immediately for south side MSP

The Opportunity

Our client, a busy and growing reputable MSP, is adding a Tier 1 Support Analyst to it’s support team. This role will oversee a variety of IT related set up, upgrade and troubleshooting tasks for a portfolio of small to medium size business. This is an ideal position for a junior to intermediate support analyst who thrives on variety, directly working with clients and is looking for long term career potential.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Design, deploy, monitor, maintain, diagnose, and support for client’s computers and systems
  • Set up and configure PC, server, and storage equipment.
  • Upgrades, maintenance and monitoring on computers
  • Setup and support local and offsite backup solutions, wireless solutions for small and major buildings, single edge security appliances, and network switching
  • Assist with migrations to Office 360, virtual servers, new domains and servers
  • Support end-users remotely and onsite on troubleshooting with hardware, software, network and servers
  • Help create, maintain and revise documentation resource for support team and clients


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of related post secondary education
  • A minimum of 2 years support experience, ideally in an MSP setting
  • MCP preferred (or working towards MS certification)
  • Hands on and remote support experience with:
  • Break/fix, set up, deployment, joining and supporting PCs in an Active Directory environment
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting Windows 7, 8, and 10
  • Setting up Routers and Wireless
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate “tech talk” appropriately to the technical understanding level of clients over the phone and in person
  • Self directed with proven time management skills
  • Deadline and budget focused
  • Must have a car and a valid driver’s license


Compensation and Benefits

  • Up to $60,000 depending on experience
  • A comprehensive benefits package will be provided
