Our USA based client is looking to expand its global footprint into Northern Alberta. If you have the drive to succeed, the willingness to learn and experience successfully selling services in Alberta’s Oil & Gas industry, our client would like to meet with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an existing customer base through frequent telephone and personal contact
- Prospect for new customers by telephone and through cold calls in the field
- Support customers and prospects through site visits for the purpose of conducting drive demonstrations, reviewing applications, and determining proper sizing and selection of Beck drives
- Provide start-up assistance, training and troubleshooting to ensure proper installation and operation of Beck drives
- Develop a work in progress knowledge for the industries served by Beck and a working knowledge of process control theory
- Communicate market activity and needs to Beck Headquarters
Qualifications:
- 5 plus years experience as a Project, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineer with “hands-on” industry experience
- Ability to apply technical skills to positively influence customer decision-making
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Excellent professional attributes including a strong desire to develop and maintain customer relationships based on honesty and integrity
- Desire and ability to travel via air and automobile. Approximate travel percentage is 45-60% through a normal workweek. Must have the ability to maneuver heavy demo cases.
- Must be fluent in both English and French
