The Opportunity

We are currently looking for contract Accounts Payable Administrator that wants to join a high-performing team in downtown Calgary.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • High volume of matching, batching and coding of vendor invoices
  • High volume Data Entry
  • Entering a variety of accounts payable invoices in a prompt and accurate manner
  • File and make copies of accounts payable invoices
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Process cheques bi-weekly which entails arranging and attaching necessary documentation, delivering internal cheques to colleagues and printing debit notes
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Ad hoc duties as required but only if competent and skilled

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience processing full cycle Accounts Payable
  • Previous experience using an ERP software in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion to develop quality applications
  • Team minded mentality, and willingness to pitch in whenever and however you can
  • Interest in proving yourself and earning your successes
  • An appreciation for tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to think on feet and adapt to situations

Compensation and Benefits

  • $40,000 – $50,000 a year
  • 2 weeks vacation
