The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an Invoice Analyst to do a 5-month contract in downtown Calgary. This candidate must have SAP experience with a high volume of invoicing. This person needs to hit the ground running with little to no hand holding.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Review timesheets/job tickets/daily cost reports/draft invoices and ensure costs associated with them are within Purchase Orders and budget.
  • Enter and attach timesheets/job tickets/daily cost reports/draft invoices as Goods/Service Receipts in SAP to meet payment, accruals, and forecast deadlines.
  • Flag Project Managers and Project Controls when costs are over Purchase Order values and budget.
  • Provide PO allocation instructions to Supply Chain Management as necessary.
  • Investigate invoices blocked for payment.
  • Handle invoice payment inquiry from vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Follow up on invoices and discrepancies and provide invoice instructions to vendors as required.
  • Ad-hoc requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Hands on experience in SAP invoicing.
  • At least 2 years experience in AP/AR.
  • Can take on this role and hit the ground running.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Oil and Gas experience would be an asset.
  • Accounting diploma and degree is an asset.
