The Opportunity

Our downtown client is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator for a 3-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities and Functions

  • Full cycle payroll for salaried employees.
  • Review and submission of payroll for hourly employees.
  • Month and year end account reconciliations.
  • Completing government remittances.
  • Completing and processing ROE’s and T4’s.
  • Handling employee inquiries.
  • Other related duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years experience in a high-volume payroll capacity.
  • Experience working with JD Edwards is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of Alberta payroll regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well independently and manage the entire payroll process.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly wage based on experience and education.
