The Opportunity

Executrade has a new and exciting opportunity! We are actively recruiting for an experienced, well connected and skilled Recruitment Consultant (Accounting & Finance) to join our Edmonton Branch. Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Finance, the successful incumbent will have a blend of existing clients and the drive and passion to expand their own book of business further. The proven builder will be skilled at establishing new clients and building rapport with both internal and external stakeholders across various sectors. Ultimately dedicated focus, drive and ambition will bring much success. Our Executrade team continues to provide top notch recruitment services for our valued clients of over 40 years and we look forward to welcoming a new member to our Edmonton Accounting & Finance team.
Key Responsibilities and Functions

  • Reach or exceed mutually agreed upon annual revenue and placement goals.
  • Inspire your established network to accelerate your success by finding them top talent within the Alberta market.
  • Consulting with and making recommendations to clients and candidates regarding job opportunities.
  • Managing the full cradle to grave project life cycle of the recruitment process (turn around) from pre-screening through interviewing to hiring and after placement follow-up.
  • Evaluating client and candidate requirements.
  • Responsible for attracting, identifying and retaining top talent in the non-designated and designated realm of Accounting and Finance professionals.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to fulfill their requirements.
  • Successfully mitigating risk while continually adjudicating the best overall fit for clients.
  • Become an expert in asking for referrals from clients, candidates and any key stakeholders in your sphere of influence.

  • Proven recruitment success.
  • Exceptional consultative sales skills; preferably within the recruitment/staffing industry.

  • A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and be solution focused.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • A post secondary degree or business certificate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.)
  • Preferred external industry related designation (e.g. CPC, RPR, etc.)
