The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions


  • Preparation of bi-weekly payroll for Canadian employees.
  • Filing of Canadian remittances to Rev Canada.
  • Preparation of annual WCB and T-4 reports.
  • Preparation of payroll accruals.
  • Recording of payroll into accounting records.
  • Reconciliation of benefits to accounting records.
  • Will be trained in bi-weekly payroll for U.S. employees, filing of U.S. W-2’s, and remittances to IRS.

Billings and Receivables

  • Input ETS service and time and billing system.
  • Monitoring of employee time and recordings.
  • Preparation of monthly billings in ETS.
  • Preparation of monthly billings into QuickBooks.
  • Filing of monthly sales tax and GST reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of Canadian payroll experience.
  • Previous billing and U.S. payroll experience would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of accounting would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Open Invoice would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $65,000 – $70,000 per annum starting salary, depending on experience and comprehensive benefit package.
