The level of job satisfaction has increased from a year ago, leading to a reduced number of people looking for new opportunities. The number of women satisfied with their job increased from 43% in 2012 to 53% in 2013. For men 41% to 50%. Still, 1 in 2 professionals are dissatisfied and open to new opportunities. Usually when dissatisfaction exists there is an increased interest in compensation to account for the personal dissatisfaction. In 2011, women (44%) and men (48%) asked for or negotiated a raise. In 2013, the number of raise requests increased to 58% of women and 64% of men.
