Saskatchewan Economy Heats Up

Mar 12, 2013

February unemployment numbers remained relatively unchanged from January across most of the country, including the national unemployment rate of 7%.  With full employment marks generally established around 5%, the unemployment results of Saskatchewan continue to demonstrate a very hot economy.  Saskatchewan unemployment fell below the 4% mark, resting at 3.8%.  This is only .02% off the unemployment rates of Alberta during the boom cycle 2006, 2007, and 2008.

BC remains stable at 6.3% and Albert at 4.5%.
