Our client in seeking an Estimator with a background in mining maintenance planning (mobile equipment) to join their team in Edmonton!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Collaborate with sales group to build maintenance proposals related to equipment cost per hour, engine life expectancy, etc
  • Analyzing existing contracts to improve quality of new proposals
  • Working to gain dedicated pricing files and machine parts design files to ensure accuracy at time of quote
  • Developing new systems templates and tools to gain efficiency with quoting new proposals
  • Provide recommendations end guidance on maintenance proposals to equipment sales personnel

Required Skills and Qualification

  • Ability to lead the estimating of operating life cycle cost systems for diverse fleet of mining equipment
  • Knowledge of contract documents and specifications in mining equipment maintenance and operating contracts
  • Requires a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems as it relates to mobile equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and applicable software
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
