The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Inventory Manager for their Edmonton group! The Inventory Manager will have a background in distribution, inventory, or logistics within the fuel/ lubricant industry.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Determine the scope of the project.
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines, review the project schedule and revise when necessary.
  • Determine labour requirements required to complete the project.
  • Recruit, interview, and manage potential staff for project activities.
  • Report on project progress and update all stakeholders on progress of the project.
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities.
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis
  • Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong inventory management background.
  • 5 years of management experience within logistics, distribution, and/or warehousing.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Oil and Gas Industry experience is preferred.
  • Fuel/Lubrication experience is considered an asset.
  • 5 years planning / management experience
