Core Responsibilities
The Account Executive – Supply Chain position is an entry-level role within the organization, with the primary purpose of supporting a large CPG organization through the use and adoption of their internal Supply Chain program. The role of the Account Executive – Supply Chain is to provide thought leadership in the use of their Supply Chain program to generate enhanced levels of insight in supply chain management that will drive decisions to improve OTIF (on time and in full) supplier fulfillment. The Account Executive – Supply Chain will provide training and diagnostic support in the use of the internal Supply Chain program and coordinate appropriate access to the solution for participating clients. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders will be key to such success, in addition to understanding the business landscape faced at client, developing winning strategies to target and deliver with precise execution. The Account Executive position reports to the Senior Account Manager, Retail Services in Montreal and must be fully bilingual.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
Client LeadershipDevelop strong and long-lasting relationships with key contacts and demonstrate initiatives such as training to increase benefit awareness and adoption of the Supply Chain program.Democratize solutions utilizing the Supply Chain program with the client’s Replenishment and Category Management personnel that foster collaboration with manufacturer clientsFoster an inherent intellectual curiosity along with strong analytic proficiency to deliver against realistic commitments and expectationsConsistently represent our client in a professional manner to deliver results that are pro-active, client focused and creativeAble to probe to understand client business objectives, issues and success measures so that timely commitment to deliverable execution can consistently be achievedProvide thought leadership paired with industry knowledge to influence key decision makers at clients to utilize and endorse our client’s services within their organizations and with industry peersAble to empathize with the client and find a profitable win-win solution that promotes the culture of “easy to do business with”

People DevelopmentBuild credibility and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships at multiple levels within the Canadian organizationEndorse and utilize corporate best demonstrated practices such as the SOLV Model, Feedback Model and Client Value Program in to the Canadian business processesLiaise with the Client Service team to communicate business wins that drives high client engagement in the adoption of the Supply Chain programIn collaboration with the Director, Retail Service, utilize Balanced Scorecard process to establish annual employee objectives and devise development goals

InnovationCollaborate with the Director, Retailer Services to establish new services offerings that will promote further growthOpen to new ideas and approaches to client business needs/requests, with an ability to generate innovative alternatives that actively impact our business and clientsCollaborate with the Marketing & Product Development Director to develop necessary marketing materials to support the Supply Chain program

Financial ManagementSupport the Supply Chain program through the adoption of the platform via training and diagnostic supportConstantly assess the business environment and service capabilities to identify new service opportunities for improved sales and client satisfactionDirect potential client sales leads with the Client Service team
Skill & Requirements:

To support the essential roles and responsibilities outlined above, the ideal candidate must possess the following experience and skills:2 years of business experience in supply chain having worked in one or more of the environments below:CPG Retailer (any channel)CPG manufacturer/supplierCPG Brokerage/DistributorUndergraduate degree requiredGood foundation of CPG retailer and product category knowledgeExperience in gathering client business needs and aligning them to appropriate services and solutionsExperience in identifying the value-proposition to sell new service concepts and provide outstanding customer service Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskAbility to interact with and positively influence senior level client personnelAble to thrive working independently while working towards team goals in a geographically dispersed organizationKnowledgeable on building collaborative relationships that foster trust and value differencesinherent in a multi-cultural environmentExceptional executional excellence – Gets it right, on time; Delivers high quality outcomes; Pushes beyond expectations

Critical Competencies

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications. VBA writing skills and working knowledge of relational databases an asset.
