The Opportunity

One of Western Canada’s premier suppliers of electronic communication technology is looking for an Account Manager representative in the Calgary market.

This company has a significant growth plan and the vision to get there. As a member of this team

you will have the opportunity to grow and develop new markets with existing and new clients.

You must have the contacts and skills to support and speak with the influencers and decision makers in corporate Calgary. Previous experience in corporate sales would be a definite asset.

Key Account Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales leadership in the Alberta market through target account management
  • Network, prospecting and lead management activities within a select number of corporate industry segments
  • Manage sales quotations and proposals
  • Make cold calls into the corporate Calgary market
  • Implement market plans in order to develop and execute joint strategies
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships within the general business community through active participation in social and business networking organizations
  • Liaise with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction of your customers

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • Min. of two years experience in selling Audio-Visual solutions to corporate clients
  • Post-Secondary / Business Diploma in line with the direction you will give to your position
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Self motivated and professional
  • Familiar with the decision makers of corporate Calgary
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with B2B corporate professional sales
  • Sound knowledge of technology; an understanding of Microsoft software would be a strong asset
