This concentrated focus has created another fantastic opportunity for a Municipal Sales Professional Based in Winnipeg or Regina. You will have diverse process application opportunities across a broad range of industries, but with a municipal focus. You will be treated as the dynamic, self-motivated SALES professional that your experience and track record warrants.Key Account Responsibilities and Functions Build, manage, and enhance relationships with customers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan by: Soliciting and Developing new opportunities Selling Instrumentation and Process packages to broad Municipal and Industrial base, including projects. Ongoing networking and meetings with the influencers and decision makers. Be the educational lead for clients including â lunch and learns’, trade shows, and providing supporting technical information. Providing Excellence in Customer service. Actively communicate with team members, vendors, and suppliers to: Support product selection application and quotes. Oversee engineered bid proposals, including follow-up. Provide product and package technical support. Develop a business plan, sales forecasts, and support marketing strategies. Working from a home office. Willing to travel up to 35% throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Required Skills and Qualifications Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant Instrumentation, Pump and Process industry experience. Demonstrated success of a minimum of 3 years selling instrumentation and/or pumps and related electrical/mechanical sales with a technical knowledge of fluid handling, with a focus on Water and Wastewater equipment in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Experience selling to contractors and working with engineering consulting firms is desirable. Proven ability to be proactive and highly motivated, working with a dynamic team. Effective written and oral communication skills, strong listening and clarification skills. Well developed ability to make successful sales presentations at all levels. Strong business, strategic planning, and account management skills. Focus on excellence in client service. Great negotiation skills. Analytical skills to break down complex issues and solve problems. Driven to succeed, with a positive attitude!Compensation and Benefits A base salary of $75,000 – $90,000 per year or more depending on experience. An uncapped bonus that should be an additional 20% – 40% or more. Excellent and comprehensive benefit package with RSP matching.
