The Opportunity

A great little Electric Motor shop is taking on the big guys and they need your sales drive! This is a real opportunity for a Sales Professional with Electromechanical expertise to join the team, drive the sales, and prove yourself to become the Sales Leader of the Executive Team. They have established themselves in niche markets, with a strong reputation of finishing projects, on time and on budget. Now It is time to capture market share in boarder the Industrial and Oil and Gas sectors. Prove yourself and you will be rewarded!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed corporate goals, with a focus on Electric Motors Sales and Service.
  • Forecasts sales activities and sets performance goals to maximize sales in the Industrial and Oil and Gas rotating sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Champion customer service excellence, take ownership and resolve all customer issues with the goal of full satisfaction.
  • Strategically develop new potential markets and services that meet or exceed sales plan.
  • Regularly visiting customers and inviting colleagues to deepen the understanding of their customers’ needs, their equipment and future plans.
  • Prepares and delivers sales presentations to key clients, and in coordination with other members of the Sales Team.
  • Continuously gains a working knowledge of competing products, services and companies.
  • Creates and maintains strong communication between sales, production and the customer.
  • Prepares and presents annual sales budget for large rotating equipment.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budget and maximize value.
  • In coordination with the marketing and business services manager, promotes the company in the community, while demonstrating appreciation to our valued customers.
  • Represents company at trade shows and association.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven success of a minimum of 3 years as an account manager, key account manager, junior account manager or other relevant experience in the electric motor industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with electromechanical equipment.
  • CET, P. Engineer in electrical or mechanical or equivalent in sales experience or relevant field.
  • Ability to interact with other employees in a team effort is essential.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel), PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A base Salary or $70,000 to $90,000 per year or more.
  • A generous uncapped sales commission that can earn a 30%-50% of salary or more.
  • Truck or an allowance with expenses, cell phone and laptop, provided.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
