Our diverse, well-established client is looking for a highly organized Accounting Clerk/Office Manager! The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, personable, likes to roll up their sleeves and has a sense of commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Pay invoices via cheques, EFT and Visa.
  • Create monthly financial reports for the owner.
  • Month and year end.
  • Create invoices for projects and service calls.
  • General Project Administration.
  • Accurate and timely filing of payables & receivables.
  • Customer and vendor account reconciliations and expedient resolution of discrepancies.
  • General journal entries.
  • Monthly Bank and Visa Reconciliations.
  • Other miscellaneous and related tasks on demand.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Accounting related software (eg. SAGE 50, Simply, QuickBooks).
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems quickly and detect errors easily.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with both co-workers and clients.
