The Opportunity


Our west end client is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their team!


Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable.
  • Record cash or cheque receipts and make bank deposits.
  • Conduct reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a real estate development or industrial environment is an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Working knowledge with Sage, Microsoft Office, Excel and proprietary software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is approximately $48,000 per year.
