The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Professional with at least 5 years of work experience for a Permanent vacancy in the South Side of Edmonton with a fabulous company.  You will be responsible for processing a high volume of accounts payables processing, communicating with vendors and assisting with cheque runs. This is a fast-paced office environment and your day will fly by!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Processing Accounts Payables invoices.
  • Vendor file maintenance.
  • Data entry, Account reconciliations.
  • Cheque runs.
  • Communicating with vendors and responding to inquiries.
  • Sort and match invoices and cheque requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience processing high volume accounts payables-full cycle.
  • Accounting Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary of $50,000.00-55,000.00 annually with a comprehensive benefits package.
