6-month contract as a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk with a company downtown Calgary in the Energy sector!  

The Opportunity

This role encompasses a wide range of duties that include: high volume data entry, backlog of front end invoice indexing, backlog of back office scanning, weekly inputting a high volume of accounts payable invoices, vendor maintenance change request, filing of cheque receipts, bank deposits and some assistance with cheque runs. Additional duties of the AP Clerk may be providing a wide variety of assistance with other team members.

The successful candidate for this opportunity will have Senior invoicing with 3- 4 years experience in a high-volume accounts payable position. Has done high volume data entry and solid knowledge of the accounting cycle, fast and accurate data entry skills is a must.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Invoice processing, high volume.
  • Data entry.
  • Assist with backlog of front end invoice indexing.
  • Assist with backlog of back office scanning and ensure this remains current.
  • Assist with increased volume of invoices.
  • Assist with Vendor Maintenance change requests.
  • Assist with filing of cheque receipts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-4 years in similar role.
  • Experience with Qbyte would be an asset.
