Are you an Accounts Payable Clerk looking for flexibility in your schedule? Do you have a good sense of humour and wish to work in a tight knit office? If so, this is the part time role for you!

The Opportunity

Our west end client is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a part time permanent basis!

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Matching, batching and coding of invoices.
  • Entering a variety of accounts payable invoices in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Maintain filing and record systems.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Process cheques bi-weekly which entails arranging and attaching necessary. documentation, delivering internal cheques to colleagues and printing debit notes.
  • Any other duties as decided by the employer.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Accounting diploma considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sage and excel experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Personable and charismatic.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary for this role will be between $20-$21 per hour, depending on education and experience.
