Accounts Receivable Clerk
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Preparing patient charts for AHC billing
  • Coding and entering daily AHC claim
  • Preparing journal entries for accounting software
  • Private and third party billings
  • Reconciling weekly AHC claims
  • Customer refunds
  • Bank deposits

Required Skills and Qualifications

Heavy emphasis on Alberta Health Care billing, which requires a high level of proficiency. Strong analytical skills, flexibility and an ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in a medical office including Alberta Health Care billing
  • Experience with Healthquest software
  • Experience with Quickbooks software
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Good organizational skills and work ethic

Compensation and Benefits

  • $20-24 per hour and a select benefits offering will be provided.
