Experienced BIM Manager needed immediately – Civil infrastructure project in Vancouver

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Lead projects BIM Management team
  • Manage Design Agreements, manage BIM performance : cost, risk, scope and quality
  • Integration and work flows between:
  • P6 Primavera
  • ReCap to Navisworks to Civil3D and Revit
  • Registration and updating of Laser Terrestrial Scanning Data
  • Clash detection reports
  • Quantity takeoffs from Revit
  • Create Walk through presentations via Sketch-Up and Revit
  • Maintain links between third party models into master Revit model
  • Report data deficiencies to QHSE Management team
  • Review and make suggestions regarding third party RFI responses for design work
  • Manage meetings with internal employees and external contractors
  • Develop working templates for Revit, Navisworks and Civil3D
  • Evaluate BIM softwares
  • Train CAD operators
  • Responsible for BIM standards implementation, maintenance and upgrading
  • Act as subject matter expert for BIM, deliver projects and manage costs/quality/changes
  • Communicate with key stakeholders in construction process – engineers, architects, etc.
  • Travel outside of Canada may be required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MIN. 5 Yrs of production experience in design,drafting or engineering
  • In-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions, especially project sheet set up
  • Revit and piping software experience
  • Experience in MAC and PC environments, familiarity with Web based applications and database software
