The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract located in downtown Calgary! The ideal candidate will have previous experience with travel operations.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • This position is accountable to execute on the Enterprise Travel, Business Expense, & Corporate Card Programs objectives
  • Support policy compliance & interpretation
  • Support the configuration of the online booking tool
  • Address travelers & any travel arranger issues
  • Be the key department owner of our clients online booking tool, accountable for ensuring it is configured in accordance with our clients policy and negotiated travel supplier contracts
  • Ensure traveler access to the policy & supporting materials, & is accountable for the recurring updates of these materials to ensure that they are accurate & relevant
  • Work with Enterprise Security, Emergency Response Management, Safety & the Travel Management Company
  • Be the key point of contact to support travelers who may require assistance in the event of an incident

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Related university degree or technical diploma with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience (ex. Business Administration, Technology/Systems, Service Management or related discipline)
  • 2-4 years of experience in travel operations with exposure and responsibility for various functional areas and technology (ex. Concur, TMC Reporting Tools)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office & data analysis skills
  • Candidates with, or pursuing a related travel, supply chain, or project management designation is considered an asset.
