The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a strong Project Manager who will direct and coordinate the daily management of the assigned project(s). The Project Manager will be responsible for: costs, schedule, quality, project status, and will manage their team.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Plan, Schedule, control project activities during the construction phase.
  • Train, develop, and supervise project team, complete project team performance reviews.
  • Negotiate Administration and management of prime contract and subcontracts; includes negotiation and awarding of subcontracts for scopes of work as well as review and evaluation of subcontractor performance.
  • Review and analysis of costs and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Manage project budget and billings. Report on financial performance of the project monthly and quarterly.
  • Implement safety program and monitor safety performance of the project team and subcontractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology Background preferred.
  • Progressive experience in General Contracting; direct project management of large Civil projects is required.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and Primavera; experience with the Viewpoint Project Management system will be considered an asset.
