The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be a key player responsible for providing compensation expertise in analytics and administration and management of compensation programs.
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Conduct job analysis and job evaluation to determine salary ranges for positions in various functional units within the organization.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of compensation and job evaluation frameworks and policies.
  • Recommend and execute base pay and bonus programs, including merit increases, short-term incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans.
  • Participate in annual salary surveys and conduct complex analytics to identify issues that impact the strategic performance of the organization.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for a variety of stakeholders within the organization.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Min. 2 years related experience; Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Preferred candidates will have completed their Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and/or are working towards completion.
  • Experience in the retail industry preferred.
  • Experience using ADP WorkforceNow (WFN) software is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency with software applications and tools including Microsoft Excel; this includes in-depth knowledge of formulas and macros, and the ability to produce complex data models.
  • Demonstrated initiative in recognizing efficiencies and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of HR policies and practices, cross provincial legislation and employment standards.

  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range is $80,000 – $90,000 per annum; based on skills and experience. A comprehensive benefit package is also included.
