Digital Content Specialist needed immediately for DT opportunity!

The Opportunity

We are now hiring for a Digital Content Specialist to coordinate layout, content optimization, maintenance and support for a large, content heavy website. The day to day for this role involves website management, content layouts/posts, and reporting. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment with steady work flow, demonstrate superior attention to detail, enjoy building relationships organization wide and be able to make time for ad-hoc training to staff members as required.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Oversee layout, positioning and navigation content on large, high traffic website
  • Assist in planning, accessibility and maintenance for primary and secondary sites
  • Maintenance and performance testing to ensure website is functioning optimally
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendor who oversees back end of website
  • Ad-hoc training and support to business users on website posting/usage
  • Dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Oversee SEO of main website and secondary sites
  • Reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of related post secondary education
  • 4+ years experience content management on large websites and working with different CMS
  • HTML5 and CSS3 experience
  • Previous work experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, AdWords, and remarketing
  • Previous experience with layout and management of graphic and video files (resolutions, file formats)
  • Self directed and track record of delivering consistent results
  • Well rounded communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, experience editing/reviewing copy
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Compensation and Benefits

  • Up to $70,000 based on experience
  • A comprehensive benefits package will be provided
